And with this, we conclude our tour of the Rankine Generating Station.

The architect for the Power House was Algernon S. Bell (of New York City). Unfortunately I've seen little other information which might explain the architect's role. What I've read indicates that the engineering requirements dictated the form and that the architect may have been only a little more than a signatory to the drawings.

Nevertheless, the station is a hidden gem in the Niagara Parks region and as of today—2020—is still standing.
