Matchbox on Window Sill Jan 1, 2005

I like the idea that this was a discarded matchbox from earlier times, left behind in this grand ballroom. Except... it's from a different hotel. Why is a matchbox from the Sutton Place Hotel lurking about here at the King Edward Hotel? As far as I know they don't share a common owner. Perhaps this is guerilla-style marketing?
