Train Tracks Intersecting The Town of Guamote, Ecuador Oct 16, 2016

Guamote is a small rural town in Chimborazo province, Ecuador. It was our team's home base while we were helping build a new school in the nearby village of Sablog. Most of my explorations of Guamote happened early in the morning, so they reflect the activity of a place waking up with people and businesses beginning their daily routine.

As seen here, the town is bisected by railroad tracks, and it's at this point where you'll find the main plaza and markets. This is where the activity and bustle is centralized, making it an interesting place to see how the town functions.
