Two Trees In The Cloud Forest Apr 15, 2013

This image is much like the other cloud forest image, a dense, humid, jungle-like environment enveloped in mist and fog.

The cloud forest in Monteverde, Costa Rica felt very surreal. You could walk through scenes like this for a period of time and then reach the 'edge' of the forest which would be a cliff dropping off to a valley below. However, you wouldn't really see that valley. You'd see a white wall of fog. Very odd, very strange.
