I'm still avoiding going out into the snow with the camera. So, let's return to happier days, like… the garbage dump!

The nice thing about garbage dumps in some of the smaller municipalities (e.g., population < 15,000) is that they provide nice sorted piles of similar items. Bagged garbage here, wood items there, metal and appliances somewhere else and… tires.

The other nice thing — make that a great thing — is that they don't flip out when you float the idea of taking some photos. You just get the weird ‘uh, ok, whatever makes you happy’ facial expression.
