A cat is probably the only animal which can fire a glare of blistering contempt worthy of my respect. I'm not sure what that says about me...

Maggie (here) is staying with us for a few weeks and — unlike her performance in this shot — she is one of the best cats we've ever had. She actually seems to like people.

And no, don't worry, this isn't going to become a cat blog any time soon.
