Beaches at Lake Tahoe, Nevada Oct 24, 2005

So we made it to Lake Tahoe, Nevada on this 'do absolutely nothing' vacation. It turns out that, well, there wasn't much to do in Lake Tahoe — at least not at this time of the year. By that, I mean there weren't many distractions or typical touristy things. And that was a good thing — it's exactly what I needed.

We spent our time enjoying and exploring the scenery — mountains, forests and beaches all surrounding a huge (cold) lake. This shot is of the beach between the Taylor Creek Visitor Centre and the Tallac Historic Site grounds.
