A new meme site is starting up for macro photography and the first subject is 'fruit'. So after work I figured I'd shoot some macro shots of the banana which was on my desk.

In the end I didn't like any of them but I did like this slightly more abstract (but still recognizable) overexposed photo. It really needed the extreme contrast to work and since it's a bit different than what I normally do, I figured I'd post it.
