2.5s | f8 | ISO 100 Partially Collapsed Stairwell (Apr 17, 2006) I finally managed to get another gallery online. The Bethlehem Steel North Office gallery is now up and contains photos from this abandoned location in a fairly severe state of decay.

This is absolutely amazing. It looks very dangerous, I hope you have ropes tied to yourself and other sturdy things! EEK! Looks like it was once very beautiful. It's still quite stunning in its own decaying sort of way. The lighting is just perfect here.

Oh yeah, that's cool. There's always something grand about a nice staircase and to see it so decrepit as this really hammers home the point.

Very interesting picture. It's so dilapidated, but it does look very dangerous. Still it's a really great picture.

Kman, you may want to invest in one of these for the Conn-man: http://www.heal...m/kidco_g20.htm

Sorry ive been taking so long commenting to your pictures, ive been bzy, i have an 8-10 page paper on sociology, and a persuasion speech. This is pretty awesome. Its yet poetic saying that stairs down the scope leads nowhere. I feel like making a poem out of it.

great, great photo, colours, tones. I really like the state of ruin. I think Canadians can get way too sterile in what they accept as beauty.

Nice perspective. Beautiful tones. Regards, Brent

You'rwe a daring man to walk where you did to take this shot.

The shot is complex, simple, just exsquisite! I love the fall colors (and then I realize the bad pun). The peeling wall looks almost like abstract art!

Reminds me of Esher..

This may be the best one yet. I really love the color, mood, and all the textures. i do hope you guys weren't relying on those stairs to get down.lol.

Uhh, great. How did you get there?!

Wow, this is a fantastic shot. I literally gasped when I saw it. Stairwell shots in urban exploration photography are a dime a dozen but this one is special! The colors are great and the composition, being a little off axis, works well too. Great shot!

ooh! really good light in this shot - pity that a great staircase is left in such a state.

This reminds me of that famous drawing of the labyrinth of stairways where there is no definite up.

Damn, that doesn't look very safe. And you tool the shot from above? Pretty brave. The shot is very good. The sense of depth is so present. - Martin
