The blue would be that big blue thing on the top - a.k.a. the sky. ^^ Very cool, though I don't think I'd want to walk through that barefoot.

That's a really nice picture. I like the rusty color with the grey of the rock and blue of the sky.

you've dug up an old favorite of mine! i love all your Georgian Bay and Sudbury shots! ya this one is totally killer! can't wait for it to be warm enough to go camping again...I walk around barefoot on this stuff three seasons a year!

What a crack! Is this located on a fault line? Looks almost as if this was post volcanic activity.

Do you have a gallery of Georgian Bay shots? We are going there (to the North Channel) with the boat the first week or so of September. I've never been there and have seen only a few photos. I love this one and the Next one a lot! I think lichen is an awsome organism.

i like this shot but to be honest what i like the most isn't the orange stuff or the blue sky it's the tiny yellow flower growing out of the crack in the rock
