"cliche shot", LOL. Everybody should have made a long exposure shot like these at least once in a lifetime. I like the colour version very much, the red of the backlights is cool.
I think a combo of b/w and colour would appeal to me. If the bottom picture had some of the colour taken out, such as the 'no trucks' sign and the whole strip on the left side...that would look great.

I like the color shot. Reminds me of an old Rock & Roll song 'Life in the Fast Lane' Maybe I'm a fool but I like this cliche shot. Whats not to like? Its interesting, pretty, exciting, fun, vibrant...

Don't feel guilty, just because something looks good AND is easy to do.
Nothing wrong with doing something tried and true as long as you do it well. I also think a combination of B&W and color would look great. Leave the color of the streaking lights in a black and white world...
Good job. Expecially for the wide angle to me. In this case my favourites is the colour version. One of the four roads is not so beaten. Just one couple of white lights...

I like (a) that you always fess up to cliche shots and (b) even your cliche shots show a professional level of color and composition. nice.

Ha! Speaking of signs in the middle of things...which is why I prefer the B&W as it's far less intrusive.

personally i like the b&w but they are both awsome

I love B&W always over color in photography, but in this case i don't know they are both really cool!

I've done a few shots like this one before... But I never thought to change it into black and white... it really looks nice!
