Once again I found myself climbing as high as I could to get a shot. At this point I'm on a catwalk at the highest point in the space (well, the highest I could reach anyways). There were probably 12-16 turbines in the main hall and most of them were painted fairly vibrant primary colours (not visible in this photo).

I can't help but wonder what happened to the plant, did all the water dry up or become too expensive?

This would be a great place to harvest some mako energy.

In February 06 myself and a friend visiting from Australia passed through Niagara Falls not to be entranced by the falls but by this beautiful building that stood silent. Peering through the windows we were captivated by such a beautiful space inside a now decrepid building. There is a distinct lack of urban decay in Australian cities, having been gentrified or never been in the throes of decline or decay like some of our North American counterparts.
