nicely shot.I realy like old, rusty things like ships and that kind of junk. This little "obsession" grew into a passion. I draw and write about ships and tragic losses. Still, very beautiful shot. love it.

I dont understand this one's low score as it is my personal favourite. Theres not too many of this type of photo that has such storng contrast of subject matter between that which is stationary, decaying and yet unconventially, historically and romantically beautiful, and that which is so representitive of nature's power, relentless change and influence. Absolutley astounding. And made all the more better after a few glasses of wine (I'm almost smelling the fresh salty fine spray mixed with the oxidised metals...I should really go to bed at this point!!)

A TERRIFIC SHOT, SOM EHOW CAPTURES THE STRENGHT THAT LAY WITHIN THE SHIP, FOR ME BECAUSE IT AMOST LOOKS AS IF IT IS BEING LAUNCH FROM THE BEACH, BUT NOW EBBING AWAY SLOWLY AS MOTHER NATURE CLAIMS HER ELEMENTS BACK.
hOWEVER DID YOU GET THE SEA GULLS TO LINE UP STRAIGHT BY THE WAY??

love the angle , the hull of the ship seems to go on forever . What's the object beyond the front of the ship ???
Im digging this one, angle is percise. I think one step to the left and it wouldve been a torn picture. But overall you did spactacular.. Seagulls are a good added effect. Killer pic Kendall...

Hello,
I am the owner/operator of Marine Recycling Corp in P. Colborne. I have a new vessel in facility now, breaking will commence in one month. Love to have you down to take more shots. My cell is xxx-xxx-xxxx. Hope to hear from you soon.
WOW! I absolutely love this series and the location! How do you find them all? Is there a site I should be visiting or do you just do a lot of legwork around the province?

I was wrong, this is the old forebody off the CSL Assiniboine, formerly the Jean Parisien. It got a new hull & this the old one being cut up.
