Industrial Landscapes

During May 2005, we headed up to the northern mining city of Sudbury, Ontario for some industrial photos. This gallery contains photos of the brutalized and bleak landscape which owes its existence to the practices of the mining industry.

These aren't intended as any sort of political statement -- rather, they're simply a documentation of the bizarre and strangely beautiful scenes which one doesn't see on a regular basis. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and a visit which I hope to repeat.
