In early August 2005, I had a chance to go down to Tonawanda, New York to see an abandoned fiber production plant. Much of the equipment had been removed long ago but there were a few unique rooms which made the visit worthwhile. I won't pretend to understand what went on here, or what any of the equipment was for (my experience with fiber is limited to Raisin Bran) so feel free to correct me or leave a comment if you want to explain what any of this stuff is.
