Power House
The Power House was one of the more interesting buildings of Whitby Psych because it was so different than the rest of the site but had still weathered the same vandalism and decay. There were effectively two main spaces to the building, and this one contains the turbine (far in the background) and a large crane which travels the width of the building along a beam.

the power house is the best..but there so much glass all over the place, but again me n all my friends have been in here!!

here its me again....that place is the best i climbed the ladder of fear...and some of the basement is flooded!!

the power house awsome but it freaking smells really bad and its flooded but going on the roof is fun but now you cant because they took off the floor so no one can get up there.

wtf y whould they tear every thing down this is the only building left thats on this site i was their on the weekend y not just leave it alone it's a canadian historical site

hes right it was there like 3 months ago and i went to the harbor and was suprised to see that the familar smokestack on the horizon was missing. all that i saw when i went by the former powerhouse was a pile of dirt and chain link fencing and some boiler tubing laying in a heap. there are 2 buildings left on site tho ones a cottage and im not sure of the other. they may try to save the cottage though because it has a chain link fence around it maybe to keep vandals from further destroying it.
