Hooks? Cables? I don't know what these are but I like the form and rhythm.

Having worked at Nanticoke Generating Station, I remember well the heydey of R.L. Hearn GS that you document in its decay with your photos. I've looked at all your posts and am pleased at your appreciation of their "beauty" in industrial terms. You don't have to know exactly what an instrument did in order to realize that it was a vital link in a process. These rods, located at the top of the boiler house are "Hangar Rods", I believe. Large boilers are hung from the roof of the structure to facilitate expansion as they heat up from atmospheric temperature to well over 1000 deg C.
