Floor Grates
Pure torture for those height-phobic types. More joy for me. Since most of the floors were steel grates, you could see all the way down to the ground level - lovely.

I worked as a security guard at a power plant & remember the first day I got out of the elevator on the top floor and looked down. The effect was MUCH scarier with the dark building & lights on each level.
