Placed along the exterior walls of the brick ovens were these little arched 'windows', allowing you to view the inside of the ovens.

Not sure but from my recent (rather casual) study of brickworks, I think that those little "arched windows" are the openings through which fuel (coal?) was put into the kiln. Two questions: Is it possible to get into these brickworks (even if it says "no trepassing" and are your photographs-- I 've looked at many of the others -- also in print form, for sale?
