This is a different addition to the galleries than what is normally contained here. While the other collections are visits to abandoned buildings, this set is from a tour of an aluminum extrusion plant which is slated to shut down near the end of 2004. Architecturally, there was little of interest but the variety of textures, materials and equipment more than made up for that. In the end, I was very happy to have had the opportunity to visit. Special thanks to Donna and John for letting this happen!

I've probably described many of the photos here incorrectly so for that I apologize -- if you spot something a little off (or entirely incorrect) feel free to point it out in the comments.

While not an 'abandoned building' like the other galleries here, it afforded many shots of industrial equipment and machinery. This is a gallery which looks at details rather than architectural spaces.
