Clinical Kinesiology Room I  (Apr 14, 2006)

So we're having some paint issues with this room, that much is for certain. The detail I find amusing here is that the colour of the door beneath the peeling paint used to be identical to the colour of the sign. Nature reasserts the original designer's intention. Or something like that...

That red is so red against everything. Did you get a chance to take any detail shots of the paint pealing? There is some great texture there.

The type of physical testing that comes along w/ Kinesiology is sure enough to make the paint peel. It sure lit me up. First they soak you in a nice warm bath, towel dry you kinda, stick electrodes all over you, then stick needles in your muscles & send surges of electricity through them. Of course they are monitoring the results on a computer. So ya, I think you caught the essence of this little torture chamber quite well. Good job!!!

My kinesiology class made my stomach feel like this room looks! Kendall, where was this taken?

The first thing I noticed was the intricacies of the peeling paint… looking at the way it peeled on the door to me it looks an awful lot like Africa/India/Europe...

Excellent blog, Kendall; you have some very inspiring work. I think you did well on this shot. The composition is solid and the sharpness looks pretty good across the shot. I like this. Regards, Brent

This looks like it would be great as an HDR shot. And hints as to where it is..?

This one looks like it has been rotting for quite a while. Love the cracked paint.
