Big Finger, Small Fingers (Apr 5, 2006)
Ok, one more baby photo then I'll try to return to the abandoned stuff (though if I manage to grab something that falls into the realm of 'really cute', there's no guarantee it won't usurp an abandonment).
This was taken a little more than an hour after Connor was born. For some reason we're all drawn into wanting to have the baby grasp our finger -- I'm still doing it (and don't expect that to stop any time soon) -- so once the parents (well, grandparents actually) entered the room they took their turn.
This is Connor holding the finger of Jenn's dad and holding on tight! I haven't taught him the essential ninja death grip yet but I figure he's still got a few years before he needs to master that one...

Its veyr cute but the b&w gives a traditional look too. The death grip is already strong in this one. He'll be a great ninja one day.

Put anything in a baby's palm and the fingers will close -- it's an autonomic response. I'm sure nature also intended that first "anything" to be a loving person's finger, so go to town and enjoy! Nice shot.
