How deep is this water? I'd hate to come upon one of these in the dark! Our boat only draws 2 feet, so we can get into some pretty shallow places.

You know I really love this shot - a lot. The clouds, the mountains, the decaying pier jutting raggedly upwards. It is so nicely done in B&W. There is just one thing that concerns me. Where is Jonathon Livingston Seagull? I havn't noticed any migratory birds or water fowl in any of your vacation photos. It just strikes me as odd for the time of year & the size of the body of water.
