While walking down Bathurst I noticed someone had 're-gifted' their poppy to a PVC tube on the outside of a building. It deserved some sort of commemoration...
(I'm noticing now that on my CRT monitor it's a little too dark.. sorry, this one was prepared on the laptop!)

Sweet! This one's a stunner, Kendall! Even without the poppy, it's complex and delectable: there's a lot to feast on. The different planes of focus, the vertical and diagonal elements dividing the scene up, the textures (as usual). This one's a desktop background candidate for me.
And, for my $.02 (US) worth, I'd hate to see you give this up to focus entirely on dilapidated buildings. True, they are a coherent corner of photography, but you're so good at seeing and capturing other bits of life. Sometimes they're even sensual and cheerful! And have people in them! Poppies! Don't disappear entirely into shattered, gloomily lit interiors of ruination and decay.
