Bricks and Pebbles

Here's a final shot of the landscape at the end of the Leslie Street Spit. A surface of highly weathered bricks, concrete rubble and stone covers a large area. If you squint your eyes, you'd swear you were standing on a pebble beach.

You can see just how weathered the items are by looking at some of the red bricks. They used to have sharp, rectangular corners.

As for the image itself, yes, it's highly processed and leaning heavily to the high-contrast side. As well, the web version (what you're seeing) is suffering from over-sharpening. Click the ‘Show the original’ link to see what's been adjusted.
