Dorset Fire Tower Jul 2, 2004

We failed to remember that we needed some crucial groceries, so on Day 2 (of the Cottage Weekend Extravaganza!) we drove into Dorset to hit the grocery store. Nearby is a fire tower which I had only been up once before (last year). You can get a great unobstructed view of the landscape from way up there and since I like climbing such things, I went up again. This mostly-silhouette illustrates how open the tower is (and how nerve-wracking it is to those who are afraid of heights — luckily not me!).
